The Collet Engagement Ring is inspired by the classical Georgian collet setting. This setting was typically found on riviere necklaces and was crafted in silver with closed backs. Our Collet ring is made with a mix of platinum and 14K gold. Under the platinum setting there is a handmade crown shape basket, this open design allows light to flow through the diamond and make it appear even brighter. The diamond is a stunning antique style elongated cushion cut that is more shallow in its depth which makes it look much larger than its 1.31 carat weight. Due to the shallow style of the cut the diamond has a softer and more subtle sparkle that gives the ring a unique look.
