Stunning antique "Pools of Light" necklace, circa 1910. One of my favourite "antique jewellery names", it's both a poetic and literal description of what's going on here... the rock crystal spheres reflect light back out in a way that it appears to "pool" brightly inside them. Here we have six orbs suspended from a fine gold chain - I couldn't decide which photograph shows them off best... first image shows the pooling effect, but swipe through to see how the necklace looks worn.
