An exceptional antique collar necklace in 18 karat gold. It was made during the mid Victorian period, circa 1870, cleverly designed with longer links down one side so it splays out when worn. Reminiscent of a metal watch bracelet with gold pommels down each side. Substantial and superb quality, fastened with a concealed clasp at the back.
