DATE: Victorian, c.1850

An unusual antique egg pendant featuring a pastoral scene with a musician sitting on a wall strumming his lute. The scene is incredibly detailed enamel-work, with a gold border separating it from the green enamel used on the rest of the pendant. It's Swiss made, crafted in silver and dating from the mid Victorian period, circa 1850.
