A rare antique high carat gold long guard chain dating from the latter half of the 19th century, circa 1880. Comprised of 15 karat gold flat belcher links, the length is 57 inches and it's paired with the original dog tag fastener. The flat links give an almost industrial aesthetic that wouldn't look amiss on a mid 20th century modernist/minimalist pieces.
