A superb antique crescent moon necklace dating from the late Victorian era. The crescent itself is set with over 1.4 carats of old cut diamonds, mounted in silver settings, and hanging from a period gold belcher chain. The crescent was a popular motif in Victorian times, and these exaggerated examples have a particularly striking appearance.
