A distinctive Vintage collar made by the renowned modernist jewellery company ‘Bayanihan’ in the late 20th Century. The company was started by W. Thomas Burns whose pieces were inspired by his time spent in the Peace Corps and often had flower, wave or leaf motifs that referenced his experiences in the Philippines.
The solid Sterling Silver links have an abstract, wave-like design and are gilded in 18ct Yellow Gold. A secure locking clasp can also be found blending seamlessly into the design and holds it securely around the neck.
It’s complete with the maker’s mark on the reverse along with British import hallmarks which indicate it was assayed later in England in 1993.
