A fine and rare LeCoultre minute repeating chronograph pocket watch in 18 karat gold. With exceptional engraved case displaying Greater and Lesser versions of the Belgian coat of arms. The Greater version of the coat of arms being used only on rare and significant occasions such as the gifting of this timepiece.

The cuvette features a beautiful engraved dedication to a prominent Connecticut Doctor thanking him for his relief work post World War I. The inscription reads:

In conjunction with the gifting of this timepiece, Dr Charles N. Leach was also awarded the Belgian Order of the Crown. He was also a recipient of the the Polish Order of Polonia Restituta and the Reconaissance Frangaise. Dr Leach served on the Rockefeller foundation's international health division, was a governor of the American Red Cross and National Health Council.

The high grade movement is a fully jeweled to the hammers LeCoultre featuring both minute repeating, and chronograph complications. The movement winds, runs, and sets properly as it should. The chronograph starts, stops, and resets properly. The chime sounds beautifully with a powerful resonating sound, and the repeating mechanism works flawlessly.

The rich 18 karat yellow gold case is fully hallmarked as 18 karat gold. This watch was Overhauled in July of 2024.
